Utah Gravity Series welcomes you to
Sundance Mountain Resort

The Resort has gone through some major changes during the past few years and 2025 will continue that trend. This year's race will feature a modified version of the rippin' Sundance downhill track with a new finish area! Here's a list of what's new and what's not:

  • The course has been changed near its bottom and the finish line has been relocated near the base of Jakes Lift.
  • The Outlaw Chairlift provides access to the top of the race course, same as last year.
  • A section of the upper parking area, near the base of Jake's Lift, will serve as the Pit area for teams and individuals.
  • On-site race registration will be located in the upper parking area.
  • Food service, lift ticketing and restrooms will be available in the new Mountain Camp building located in the same area
  • Race Award Ceremony will take place up there too.
  • Event parking is plentiful in the new upper lots. and the Outlaw Lift base area is accessible by bike or resort shuttles.
  • the Outlaw Lift base area is accessible by bike or resort shuttles. There's also a new hiking trail from the upper lots down to Outlaw base for foot traffic only.

Race Course Description

The first racer goes at 11 a.m. on Sunday. The course starts at the top of the Outlaw lift and descends the upper flow trail before transitioning on to a high speed section and then drops in to the technical mid section finally finishing up on some newly constructed trail and finish line. Downhill and Enduro bikes are equally popular race bike choices. Bike handling skills and endurance are keys to a good result. Expect finish times to be over 4 minutes.
